About / the facility
Golf on your schedule, not the club’s
An independent, automated indoor golf lounge in the middle of Tullamore — open every hour, alarm-monitored around the clock.
The name
Why “The Dew Sweep”
The dew sweep is the group that plays first — out on the course at first light, brushing the dew off the greens before anyone else has parked the car. The name is a nod to that: getting your golf in on your terms, whenever suits.
The Dew Sweep is an independent, family-run facility in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. We chose an unstaffed, automated model on purpose. It is what lets us stay genuinely open 24/7, keep the bays in top condition, and keep pricing to one simple rate instead of a menu of tiers.
That makes The Dew Sweep the Midlands’ first 24/7 unstaffed indoor golf venue. Indoor golf simulators aren’t new here — several venues around the country offer them during normal staffed opening hours. What is different is the model: no reception, no fixed hours, no waiting for someone to unlock a bay for you.
No front desk to get past, no closing time to beat. Book a bay, walk in with your code, and the room is ready.
Getting ready
Follow the build
We are documenting the fit-out as it happens — these will be replaced with real photos of the finished facility once we open.
The facility
What is behind the door
Three TrackMan iO bays
A matched set of ceiling-mounted TrackMan iO units running native TrackMan software — the same platform used for fitting and tour practice.
Heated and ventilated
Heated, ventilated and kept consistent all year, so a February session feels the same as one in July.
VLAN-segmented network
The simulators, access control and monitoring each sit on their own network segment, isolated from guest devices.
Alarm monitored 24/7
The alarm is monitored 24/7 by a licensed alarm receiving centre, and CCTV records throughout, covering the building around the clock.
Fully automated access
Smart-door entry codes and automated power relays replace a front desk, which is what lets us stay open every hour.
Practice & play
Built for the serious session and the casual round alike
Come in alone at 6am and drill a block of wedges with full TrackMan iO data you can export and review. Come in with three friends on a wet Tuesday night and play a full course on the big screen. Bring a coach and work through your numbers on the TrackMan iO.
Societies and small corporate groups are welcome too — book adjacent bays and run your own format. Get in touch and we will help you set it up.
