1. Acceptance of these terms

By booking a bay or otherwise using The Dew Sweep (Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not book or use the facility.

The Dew Sweep is currently pre-launch. Live bookings and payments are not yet available — sections below describe how things will work once the booking portal opens, and will be confirmed at that point.

2. Bookings

Casual play is booked and paid per bay, per hour. Bookings are made online once the booking portal is live; in the meantime, enquiries and bookings can be arranged directly by email or WhatsApp.

Every booking, pay-as-you-play or package, includes up to 3 friends at no extra cost. The person who made the booking must be present for their guests to play.

Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult for the whole booking.

3. Pricing & payment

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT. Casual play is charged per bay, per hour, regardless of the number of players in that bay (up to the stated maximum). Payment methods and processing will be confirmed when online payments go live; no payment card details are stored by The Dew Sweep directly.

4. Cancellations & no-shows

Cancel up to 24 hours before your booking for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours aren't refunded.

5. Hour packages (subscriptions)

• Hour packages are billed monthly in advance, and 5 bay hours are added to your account each month.
• Off-peak hours can only be booked in the off-peak window. Peak: weekdays 5pm–10pm and weekends 8am–8pm. Off-peak: all other times, including weekday daytime, late nights and overnight. A booking counts as peak if it starts during a peak hour.
• Hours expire 60 days after they're added and have no cash value.
• You can cancel a package with 30 days' notice, and there are no further charges after the notice period.
• The normal booking cancellation rules apply: if a booking is cancelled more than 24 hours ahead, its hours go back to your account.

6. Leagues

Leagues run over a set week or month; participants may play their round at any point within that window. Full rules will be published alongside the booking portal and leagues feature. Fair play is expected at all times; The Dew Sweep reserves the right to exclude a participant from a league for conduct that undermines its integrity.

7. Coach rate

The discounted coach rate is available only to coaches who have supplied a valid PGA (or equivalent governing-body) credential and been manually approved. The Dew Sweep may verify, decline, or revoke access to the coach rate at its discretion, including where a credential cannot be verified or has lapsed.

8. Access & security

Access to the building is by a personal smart-door code issued with each booking, valid only for that booking's time window. Codes are personal to the booking and must not be shared with anyone outside your group. Misuse of an access code, or allowing entry to anyone not part of your booking, may result in the booking being cancelled and access being restricted for future bookings.

9. Equipment

You are welcome to bring your own clubs, or use one of the house club sets provided in each bay. House clubs remain the property of The Dew Sweep, are provided for use during your booked session only, and should be returned to the bay in the condition you found them. Use of house clubs, like the rest of the facility, is recorded by CCTV. You may be liable for the cost of repairing or replacing equipment damaged through misuse.

10. Facility rules & conduct

• Appropriate golf or flat-soled footwear is recommended; metal spikes are not permitted on the hitting mats.
• The Dew Sweep is an unstaffed facility — please take reasonable care of the equipment, the bays and the building, and report any damage or fault immediately via WhatsApp.
• Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the premises.
• [Confirm alcohol policy — given the facility is unstaffed with no age verification on site, we recommend prohibiting alcohol on the premises unless a supervised exception is planned.]
• Unaccompanied minors are not permitted on the premises outside any confirmed policy set out in Section 2.
• Only the number of players stated for your booking may be present in a bay at one time. Up to 4 players can share a bay.

11. Liability

Golf, including simulator golf, carries an inherent risk of injury from clubs, balls and equipment. You use the facility and any equipment at your own risk and are responsible for playing safely and for the safety of others in your group.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Irish law. Subject to that, The Dew Sweep's liability for loss arising from use of the facility is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking, and The Dew Sweep is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

12. CCTV

The premises are monitored by CCTV for security and safety purposes, given the unstaffed, 24/7 model. See our full CCTV Notice for details.

13. Closures & force majeure

The Dew Sweep may need to close temporarily for maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Where a confirmed booking is affected, we will offer a credit or rebooking.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, particularly as bookings, leagues and payments go live. The date at the top shows when they were last revised.
